Beads, Acrylic and Oil paintings

Naomi’s painting practice began as a deeply personal path toward healing from trauma and coping with profound loss, following the inhumane murder of both her parents. What started as an experimental healing journey  gradually became a deliberate and evolving practice of expression.

Naomi believes that through the physical process of painting, mixing color, building texture, and working slowly, a person’s emotions are translated into something tangible and meaningful. Her work explores complexity, presence, and the ways inner and outer worlds take shape over time. In this way, her painted arts work reflects how lives and experiences are formed: gradually, imperfectly, and over time.

Naomi works primarily with acrylic paint and beads. She also uses oil paints, dried plants and other materials to produce creative arts work.
