The Memoir : SHE IS

In her memoir, Naomi shares her deeply personal journey of surviving sexual abuse and confronting her perpetrator. From the fragments of a shattered self, she crafts a narrative of resilience and recovery that illuminates the path from brokenness to healing. This memoir is a reflective exploration of adversity, survival, and healing which transformed Naomi`s  lived experiences into a message of resilience and possibility.

Our First Community Book Project

Scriptorium is a protected writing space for individuals affected by trauma. Our goal is to provide a platform for individuals to express what feels heavy, unspoken, unresolved,or simply meaningful stories. It is also a space for sharing moments of growth, reflection, joy, and personal truth. Many people carry stories shaped by both brokenness and beauty, yet shy away from sharing them due to a lack of trust, fear of judgment, or the belief that their experiences are too small to matter. And so, they remain silent. We believe that one way of creating meaning and global impact is through honest expression in writing. Every story, no matter how quiet, holds the power to resonate, to heal, and to connect.

This online platform is a place for reflection, release, and discovery. A space where individuals can write freely, without pressure or expectation, and where stories can exist in their raw, authentic form. Over time, these stories will be thoughtfully curated into a collection of books, each one reflecting shared human experiences and the many ways we make meaning from our lives

We invite you to write and share a short story that feels meaningful to you, something unspoken, unresolved, healing, or rooted in growth, reflection, joy, or personal truth. Write only what feels safe to share. There is no pressure to explain everything.

In no more than 500 words, you may reflect on (if helpful):

  • A meaningful experience or moment in your life.
  • The emotions connected to it—past or present.
  • Something you’ve learned, discovered, or come to understand.
  • Something you wish you could say, or something you’re ready to release.

Note: This is not therapy, counseling, or diagnosis. It is simply an invitation to write, release, and be witnessed on your own terms.

Selected contributions will be thoughtfully curated into a community-authored online book.
